One newly released movie we watched this weekend was Super 8. Here's how Netflix described the movie: "With a nod toward producer Steven Spielberg's landmark sci-fi films of the 1970s and '80s, writer-director J.J. Abrams crafts a supernatural tale about six kids who witness something incredible while shooting a movie with their Super 8 camera." It definitely reminded me of Goonies and ET and a few other Steven Spielberg movies from back in the day. I thought the movie was good, but not great. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

We went to the theater to see Super 8 and we were very disappointed.
