Monthly Catch Up Post

We've had some pretty hot days this past month, and when it's that hot, we like to play in the water and with water balloons!

Jackson thought goggles were necessary for this.

They'll finally go out by themselves and jump for a little while without me.  Hooray!!!  I love how well they play together these days!

Brothers!  I love this picture of them watching a movie together!

We had to take advantage of Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A,  so we made our costumes and headed out for our free food.  Collin wasn't thrilled about his costume and kept saying "ALL DONE!!!".  Notice his mask that he threw on the ground.

One of the employees took our picture for their Facebook page, but of course, Collin didn't want in it. I did a screenshot of the page.  :)

This is the best picture I could get with all three of us.

We spent a day at Sea World.  The orcas were super active, and it was fun to watch them.

Jackson is finally starting to show some interest in writing his letters.  Preschool starts in less than one month!  We can't wait!

My best friend, Jamie, came for a few days.  It was SOOOOO hot while she was here.  We're talking like 106 degreees!  We spent her first day here at Balboa Park since she's never been.  Jackson was not shy with her at all.  She was his new best friend.  :)

We also went to the beach and the zoo while she was here.  I didn't get any pictures of us together.  Lame!  But, this is me during our car rides...squeezed uncomfortably in between the car seats in our little Nissan Versa. Ha!
Jamie also treated me to a girls day on her last day here.  We went to lunch and got manicures and pedicures.  It was great to spend time one on one with my BFF!

We love ice cream and treating ourselves every once in a while!  :)

This little guy will be 2 in just three short months!

Jackson loves Marvel Tsum Tsum guys.  (It's pronounced "zoom zoom".)  He's building a collection and loves watching videos of people opening the "blind bags".

Cute picture from the Safari Park.  Pretty much the only picture I took in the few hours we were there.

We recently found a new place to go.  There's this small amusement park about 45 minutes north of us.  We bought tickets online for $5 and spent our day there.  They had lots of rides for little kids, and Jackson was loving his life!

Jeff was looking forward to this ride.  It shoots you up and drops you and repeats the process a few times. He loved it.

Me....not so much!!!  Ha!  I didn't really want to go on it, but Jeff made me.  I screamed and made this lovely face when it shot up.  (My feet are all weird, too, because I forgot to take off my flip flops and didn't want them to fly off.)  Jackson got scared and started screaming/bawling whenever I screamed.  He thought something was going to happen to me.

This picture shows his sad little face while I was on the next ride.  He refused to take down his "I love you" until I was safely off the ride.

We found this GIANT bear at Costco the other day.  93" tall and only $179.99.  Ha!  Any takers?
Yes, Jackson is way too big to be in the cart, but it's so much easier and faster to do my shopping this way instead of having him walk along.  No judgements.  :)

Some Play Doh fun.  When Jeff's at work, we tend to stay at home and life is pretty low-key.  When Jeff is off, it's always go, go, go!

Jeff's little helper while mowing the yard.

Yesterday was a beach day with cousin Max.

Now today, I have two sick little boys.  They are both just lying around.  Poor little guys...although, I'm getting quite a lot of things done today.  :)

Hope you've had a great month!  Until next time...
