We have had an amazing past few weeks! I love the Christmas season, and this year, we were able to go home to Pennsylvania! The night before we left (so, on December 18th), we exchanged gifts from each other. We had set a limit of $50.00 since we spent a lot of money on plane tickets, but of course Jeff, being the sweet man he is, spent way more on me. Jeff got me an iPod Nano. It is bright red, and I love it. It takes videos and I can listen to the radio or the TV at the gym. (I like watching CNN while I’m running on the treadmill.) It’s pretty sweet. He also made me this amazingly sweet coupon book for one date a month. It’s called “Choose the date of our next adventure”. He put a lot of time into it. I’ll have to take a picture and post it. What a great husband I have!!!
I got Jeff an electric shaver because he’s been wanting one. I also got him Patch Adams because it’s one of his favorite movies. My present was quite lame compared to his. Oh well. I’m the first to admit I’m not good at buying presents!!! But, I DID buy us STOMP tickets for February 6th in Hollywood. So, that is kind of a present, too.
Our flight into Baltimore was canceled, but luckily we were able to fly into Pittsburgh. There was so much snow in PA!!! I loved it! But, it also made me glad I don’t have to deal with it every day! Being home was amazing! We just hung out with the family and had a blast! We had a super slammin’ Christmas Eve party, too, that my aunt Darla and my mom put together! LOVED IT!!! I was able to see a few friends that stopped by while I was home, too. That was fun! Jeff was sick most of the time, but he claims he still had a good time. Poor guy! It was hard for me to leave home. Everything about it is so great. But, life goes on, and the real world was patiently waiting for us to return.
We got a Wii for Christmas. It’s super fun. We had a Wii Party a few nights after coming back to Cali. I can’t wait to buy old games for it like Super Mario Bros, Tetris, and Qbert! Love those games!!!
We saw The Princess and the Frog the other day. It was cute. It was weird seeing old animation again, but it was nice at the same time. The movie had some good morals in it, which is always nice. Go Disney!
Jeff and I tired dying my hair back to blond on Friday night. Word to the wise…or not so wise…..you CANNOT use a box color treatment to go from dark to light. It didn’t work. My roots were bright yellow and the rest of my hair was orange!!!! My friend, Apryl, spent 3 ½ hours fixing it on Saturday!!!!!
That’s our life in a nutshell the past few weeks. It’s been busy, busy, busy, but super awesome!!!! Lots to look forward to in the upcoming weeks, too!!!! I’ll post pictures later!
