Have you noticed that people are taking their dogs into grocery stores these days? Jeff and I have noticed it quite a few times, and it's happening more frequently.
A few weeks ago, we were at Henry's, and this lady had her dog in the child seat portion of the cart! REALLY lady!?!?! We put our fruits and veggies there! I don't want your dog sitting where my food goes! We overheard someone complaining about how animals are being allowed in stores now. I agree....this is a FOOD store, NOT Petco.
Why is this acceptable?

Stupid people. Not everybody are animal lovers. Not to mention, some have serious allergies to the cats and dogs. I totally agree with you. It's sad when they treat their pets like an infant.
