Wow! I can't believe how fast time flies. I'm 27 years old! Seriously, I'll be 30 in 3 years! I still feel like I'm in high school. Am I really considered a woman according to the world's standards? It feels weird to say because I feel so young.
Jeff kept asking me what I wanted for my birthday. I told him that all I wanted was a date night with him. So Saturday night, we went to the Cheesecake Factory (SO GOOD!). Dinner was Yum-O but the dessert was the best part. We got this white chocolate macadamia nut and caramel cheesecake. It was to die for!!! After dinner, Jeff tagged along to see 17 Again starring Zac Efron. It was a cute movie, but I could tell Jeff didn't enjoy it too much. He says I have a crush on Zac. haha....I gave the movie a 6, and Jeff gave it a 3. If you don't have teenage girls, just wait to rent it. Otherwise, go see it. It's enjoyable to sit through, but I don't know if it was worth the $11 per movie ticket.
The next morning, I woke up and was surprised with gifts. Jeff hid them in the food cupboard so I wouldn't see them right away. He got me Grease on DVD (I only had it on VHS), this Willow Tree figurine I've been wanting (it's called Together), a picture in a frame of him for my desk at work(it's my all time favorite picture in the world of him), and a bunch of beautiful jewelry. I loved it all. He's such a sweet husband.
A few days before that, we celebrated our 1 month anniversary. To my surprise, Jeff brought me home a dozen red roses. A few weeks before that, I was sick, and he brought me these really cool flowers (I don't know what they were). He's always thinking of me and wanting to make me smile. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!!!
So, I've decided that I really need to get a new camera. Since mine doesn't work, and I don't think Jeff has a cord to hook into the computer, I can't post pictures that we've taken. But, I'm going to post a few from the wedding. Speaking of wedding.....We had a great time at our PA reception! Everything was so nice. The decorations were beautiful, the food looked awesome even though I was too sick to eat it, Jeff's video presentation turned out great, and the Hawaiian dancers (our cousins) were a hit. I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful family and such great friends who helped with both the CA and the PA reception!!! I am so blessed.
My parents are great and so supportive. They celebrated their 35th anniversary on the 19th of April. 35 years and so many more to go. They are still so young. I hope they know how much I love them and appreciate everything they do for me!!!
This week is going by pretty fast. I have to start working on thank you cards for the wedding gifts. And, Jeff and I still have to pick out the pictures we want for our wedding album. It's crazy how fast time goes and how much there is to do every day.
On a side note: I like making new recipes for dinners for Jeff and myself. So, if anyone has anything they'd like to pass along, please do! :-)
Ok, so I just tried to upload the pics. NO luck. I must not be meant to post pics. I'll try again later. Sorry everyone!!!

I hope you get it to work. we want pictures!! You are very lucky and blessed. I can't say enought how wonderful Jeff is.
Get a cannon power shot. They have the best optics of the instant cameras, and I just accidentally put mine through the washer, and it still works.
