Safari Park

Last week, we went to the Safari Park on one of Jeff's days off.  We saw some fun animals and had a great time.  It's great having Zoo passes, especially since the Safari Park is included!

This lion was sleeping on the car.  It must have been comfortable!

Jeff and Jackson looking at the elephants.

Jackson loves the animal statues.  He thinks they are real and likes to pet them.

He loved sitting in this egg.

We always have to find "Timon" and "Pumbaa" at the zoo.  I've mentioned in the past a few times how much Jackson loves them.  Side story...on Sunday, we had to take his stuffed Timon and Pumbaa to church.  They sat on the bench with us during Sacrament meeting.  I guess even stuffed animals need church in their lives.

Posing as bats.  You can barely see Jackson's little face.

Eating a snack and feeding the ducks with Mama and Daddin'.

The flamingos are another must see at the Zoo/Safari Park.

We rode the safari tram and saw lots of animals.  The Safari Park has 2 of the remaining 7 northern white rhinos left in the world.  They also said they have over 1.5 MILLION kinds of plant life.  I don't even know how that is possible.  One more fact...their plant life is worth twice the amount of the animals they have there.  Pretty interesting!

We must have tired Jackson out.  It was a fun day!
