Moving into our house...

Once we get a few more things put away (we're almost there), I'll post some pictures of our house.  We moved in last Saturday, the 20th.  We had a lot of help, and we are very grateful for everyone who carried boxes and furniture!  :)

We love living in a house!  We have so much more room, and we love having a backyard!  The park is within walking distance, and we are all a lot happier here than where we were!

Owning a house, as many of you know, requires a lot of work!  We've discovered this already.  We practically lived at Home Depot and Walmart the first few days we lived here.  Thankfully, Jackson was a trooper the whole time!

Here he is helping with the shopping at Home Depot.  He wanted to wear my iPod and listen to music while shopping.  

Here we are on another day at Home Depot.  We found the carts with the steering wheels, so he was happy during our shopping trip.  

We had to stop at Office Depot and look at desks.  Jackson was our measurer.  He kept saying things like, "It's 12 inches."  

We wore him out with all of the shopping.  He wouldn't let go of this balloon he got.  No matter how hard we tried to take it from him, he refused to let it go.

He still fights naps, but usually ends up falling asleep on the floor.  I don't mind where he sleeps, as long as he sleeps because he sure does need it! 

He loves having a backyard.  We've already played with his water toy so many times!

This turtle thing is a water sprinkler, but he wasn't too crazy about it.  I think he'll just have to warm up to it.  Don't mind our dead grass.  It's one of our projects!

And, on a random note...I was going to cook some baby carrots for dinner last night, and pulled this HUGE one out of the bag!  Biggest "baby" carrot I've ever seen!!!
