Smiles and Pennsylvania

Collin started smiling when we talked to him right before we left for Pennsylvania.  I love when babies start smiling and "talking".  As someone recently said to us, "It makes them more human!" 

 He loves his tongue!!!

We were so excited to head to PA to visit family and friends!  Jackson had Duffy, of course, for the journey.  Both boys did really well on the flight.  Collin slept pretty much the entire time!  Jeff and I took turns holding him, and whoever wasn't holding him was entertaining Jackson.

There wasn't much snow, but we enjoyed what little there was that first day.  Thank goodness my mom got Jackson this snow suit because it was FREEZING!!!  We definitely weren't prepared for that kind of weather!!!

Jackson loved the snow...at first.  Then, he wasn't too crazy about it.  I think Jeff pulled him a little too fast on the sled.  Fast for Jackson...not fast to the rest of the world.  ;)

The Fire & Ice Festival was going on in Somerset, so we went to check out some of the ice sculptures.  It was so cold out, so we wrapped Collin's blanket around Jackson.  Collin stayed in the warm car with Papa.  

We spent lots of time with family and ate out at a few really yummy restaurants!  Somerset County people...you MUST eat at Yamato and at Rey Azteca!  They were SO good!!!

 

My sister and her two girls came for Collin's baby blessing.  We decided to do it in PA so my family could be a part of it.  We didn't take any pictures the day of the blessing, though.  Bummer!

Jackson sleeps with his eyes half open just like Jeff.  It's a little creepy.  

While at my parents' house, he collected every stuffed animal he could find and slept with them every night.
