Front door...

I asked our leasing office if we could have another lock installed on our front door.  Only having one lock did not make me feel all that safe at night, and I knew those feelings would intensify once Jackson arrived.  They install lots of these "child safety locks" for other tenants, so it was no big deal when I asked them.  Well, I'm not sure if the maintenance guy was new or never hung a lock before, but here's how he hung it.

Oh my!  I'm pretty sure the two pieces should have been a little closer together.  We should have done it ourselves!
